The 3WB was featured in my "Epoxy Alternative" article in July 2007 Fly Fisherman Magazine which can be viewed in my MOST RECENT ARTICLE page at www.wileysflies.com Boatman are extremely effective to fish through out the year when fished slowly along the bottom in 4 to 12' of water. Fishing them using slow hand twist retrieves ***SLOW*** and you will find these to be a real fish slayer, try one in tandem with a Beadhead Chironomid or Raunzel...works great fished three feet behind your favorite bugger too. If you aren't fishing Boatman patterns you are missing out on some fantastic action. |
